Takeshi Masada 政田武史

Born in Osaka, Japan, 1977. Currently lives and works in Osaka.

Takeshi Masada has been highly acclaimed for his dynamic images and compositions, which are mainly paintings that reconstruct scenes from movies, TV shows and everyday life. Masada draws his inspiration from figures in his nightmares. Painting and morphing these figures with bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors has become his therapeutic conquest against his fears. In recent years, the artist has developed his own distinctive style which weaves stories emerged from his boundless imaginary world. This epic journey has etched Masada’s mark in the world.
